TPACK Models

What is TPACK? 


TPACK framework is Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. It is a model that was developed to clarify the set of knowledge that educators need in order to effectively teach their students and engage them by using technological tools such as software, hardware, applications, websites, etc.


The three types of knowledge are combined in different ways within TPACK:

1. Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK): is the knowledge that educators have about how to teach specific content. 

2. Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK): is a set of abilities known by Mishra and Kohler in 2006 that teachers develop to spot the most effective technology to support a  specific teaching method.

3.Technological Content Knowledge (TCK): is a group of skills that teachers acquire, to assist identify the most effective technologies to support their learners as they learn content.
